Instituted in 1981, as part of a conglomerate of schools established nationwide under the aegis of the Army Welfare Education Society, this institution has grown from a fledgling school catering to the educational nourishment of the wards of the guardians of our nation, the locally posted armed forces personnel, to one that has made its mark as a premier establishment in the educational arena of Bangalore.APS today boasts of a student strength of 2204.
