Aakanksha Centre for Children With Specific Needs:- The Centre for Special Children Aakanksha has about 100 students. Children with mild, moderate and severe disabilities in the age of 3yrs to 20 years are imparted education here. Inclusive Education fully and partially in certain cases provide an opportunity to all learners with or without disability to learn together. Every diversity is accepted and we make every child a unique learner. Social Outreach Initiatives :- The school has an excellent record of providing service to society. The school has a Dayanand Prodh Shiksha Kendra which is dedicated to educating women living in slums from the past 15 years. Besides education, the women are sensitized on various issues of Health. Hygiene, Environment, Social evils, Family planning etc., The Bal Sakshatra Kendra in the school is dedicated to the cause of educating children living in the slums. Financial support is given by way of providing transport , clothing, health check up, medicines, stationery items etc. they are taught the subjects of the regular school. The school also celebrates festivals with slum dwellers.
